Are your digital services open source?

We at Nattfjäril Digital Services strongly believe in open source and use open source software 
and hardware as much as possible both to deilver our servies and in our private lives.
Our servers run on openSUSE Leap, the website is delivered by Apache2 and Nattfjäril Cloud is powered by Nextcloud.


How secure are the services that NDS provides?

We take the security of our user's data seriously and do our best to secure it.
To that end we take several measures to secure our systems from compromise and we encrypt our user's data as much as possible.
Even though we do our best we also want to remind our users that no system is impenetrable and that they have to practice good
digital and operational security.


What is NDS stance on user privacy?

NDS belives that privacy is a human right and takes the privacy of it's users seriously. We oppose the current surveillance
economy and try to resist it as much as possible.To that end we do not surveil our user's nor do we sell our user's data. 


Are NDS services free of charge?

We would like to offer our services for free but IT infrastructure, food and housing costs money so we have to
charge for our services to be able to pay our costs. Payment can be made using cash, debit card, bank transfer or Monero.
